Often we look at one another and say in stereo, "people just don't get it." It is usually because we have experienced something that would be unthinkable in the USA or because someone has let us know that this ministry is not worthy of their support. Recently we experienced 3 weeks without power in Nkwanta - no power meant no water for 3 weeks. We were staying in a guest house that has a generator - but fuel is so expensive that they were only running it from 6pm to 10pm daily. And we began to think about our impending move to Nkwanta - we have had several people to visit us in Ghana and say things like; "We will take care of your bore hole" or "Is that all you need? that's no problem." But alas, the funds do not come. Honestly we have been discouraged at times. But God reminded us recently that in Him do we place all of our trust - because He alone "gets it" -- He knows why we are here in Ghana because He is the one who commissioned us to go. He knows our needs and will see to them - because He cares for us more than we could imagine. God gets it -- He gets that His name must be made knows to the nations - He gets that the people will be lost if they don't know Him through His son - He gets that He is EVERYTHING and that He Is Lord!! We don't lose heart - because we do trust God! But Alas -- People Just Don't Get It!
