  • Prayer update Jan- Feb. 07

Dear Praying Friends, What a month January has been! Sending Deborah off to RVA (the boarding school), traveling to Kabale and Kasese and Masaka, meeting with the Baptist Union of Uganda, and pastors of churches in different areas have keep Debbie and I running. Here are some things to pray about over the next few weeks. Pray that I will be able to get what needs to be done, done in the order it needs to be done in. :) I have so many competing issues that need attention. 1. A class on Hebrews.. I need to organize and start teaching 2. I need to order parts of the water project and see that the survey gets registered with the government. 3. I need to revisit the pastors’ children’s edu. fund and see if we can move it to individual sponsorship. 4. In one week I have a couple coming out for a vision trip to see if God is leading them to work in Uganda. I will be taking them around the country and introducing them to the type of work they could do here. 5. There are field problems I need to help solve, some interpersonal and some dealing with physical assets 6. We will be going to Kenya for 10 days in Feb. to see Deborah and help the junior class with their banquet project. 7. There are Local Bible Schools that need to be started. I need to start the process by, writing and then visiting the areas that want this program. 8. A marriage between 2 churches to arrange. One here in Africa, one in the USA. It’s an effort to see if we can get churches in the USA to work with Churches here and both come out doing well. These are just a few things of the competing issues. I am so glad that God gives grace and that He will help us with these and other things as well . Please pray for Deborah and her health. She has a bad sore throat and low fever. We don’t want her to get strept throat again. Thanks again for praying for us. May together we be Fruitful for Christ and in all that we do may we show forth His Grace and Love, Darrie Turner dturner@WorldVenture
