Holy Land Theme Park Sheep

We live 20 min. from the world's first Holy Land Theme Park, equipped with lots of fiberglass statues like this sheep. They have several "animals" out front, which are free to climb on, so we go every so often to let the boys climb on the sheep, donkey, and camels. As far as they are concerned, this is the theme park! I don't think they have much interest in going in the park, and it's a good thing...it's not cheap!

Jungle Gym

Being the interim pastor of the International Bible Church has many challenges, but it also has perks! One is the church house. We stay there during the weekends, and it comes with a yard, a trampoline, a pool (which is too cold to use during the S. American winter!), and this climbing tower. Jaden has proven to be quite the able climber and I think it won't be long before Ethan scales the metal bars to join Jaden at the top.

Big, Green Friend

I won this oversized Kermit the Frog at my bachelor's party. I thought it might be worth hanging on to, and I was right. It has been a good friend for me, then for Jaden, and now Ethan and Kermit are good buddies. Laile never quite bonded with it like us guys have...I wonder why?

At Our 8th Anniversary Get-away

We got our first overnight get-away since having kids this anniversary. Some friends with the C&MA stayed with Jaden and Ethan so we could escape for a chance to refresh and remember. We found a boutique hotel 10 min. away, right across the street from our favorite restaurant and enjoyed Cirque du Soleil. We were recharged and the boys had a great time without us!
