|Teacher/Discipler of Church Leaders||4 Years||Lifetime||Africa||Rwanda||Rwanda has many churches. Nearly all of them are pastored by Rwandese. But 80% of them have no Bible training at all. The church is in desperate need of discipleship at all levels. You would be joining a team of missionaries and nationals who are committed to deepening the spiritual depth of the church in Rwanda and preparing the leadership of the next generation.||After language learning -- teach and disciple! Study Kinyarwanda for 2 years. Develop teaching materials fresh for the Rwandese situation and culture. Teach for practicality and the development of character. Teach to develop their ability to think critically and problem solve. Develop relationships with the students, visiting them in their homes which are in all parts of Rwanda.

The WV team will be your prime base for spiritual and physical and social support in the early years before language and cultural fluency. Being internationally recognized as the leading example of post-war development, ministries in Rwanda have a unique opportunity to prepare for the church in Rwanda leadership that will speak with a Christian voice toward the future of the church and the country. New Creation Ministries (NCM) has an incredible track-record of discipling church leaders using non-traditional methods. And, in light of development within the country, NCM is beginning a Bible college to strategically train Christian leaders at the bachelors degree level.||After language and cultural orientation, teach within NCM’s bachelor’s degree level school of Christian leadership. Mentor and disciple NCM students both in relationship and in ministry. Use gifts and talents to contribute to the growth, direction and health of NCM’s ministries.

|English Language Teacher (ESL)||6 Months||4 Years||Africa||Rwanda||Serve within New Creation Ministry’s ESL program as a teacher, providing Rwandese Christian leaderss the invaluable opportunity to improve their capacity to lead the church in Rwanda as well as to prepare themselves for theological study. Length of service is 6 months to 4 years.||After language and cultural orientation teach English within existing NCM ESL ministries. Assist in vision casting and development of relevant ESL ministries within NCM. Ultimately use teaching English as a medium to disciple Rwandese believers.
