WorldVenture Online Events & Registration

Inspiring People Since 1943

Therefore go and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit, and teaching them to obey everything I have commanded you. And surely I am with you always, to the very end of the age.”Matthew 28:19-20

The call to make disciples isn’t just issued to missionaries and pastors; the command is for all of us. WorldVenture is dedicated to good training, so our Global Workers are prepared to serve in the field (and stay in the field). We continue to also develop online events to equip you for Gospel Impact. What does that look like?

In the words of Shane and April Hudson (Spain) when talking about a 20-hour course they were putting together, “We believe that this material is like the content of the gospel. It is not enough to merely know it. It must change your life.” We hope the material and ideas you learn inspire you to find creative ways to reach your co-workers, family, people in your community, and help you support your local church’s efforts in missions and outreach.

Here, at WorldVenture, we are committed to Gospel Impact. Scroll down to see all our events.

Ordinary People,

Extraordinary Places

Live Stream

July 14 – 18, 2025

Jesus called dozens of ordinary people to follow Him in His ministry on earth. The disciples came from various backgrounds, but none of them were famous, notable, or influential. They were ordinary, but Jesus gave them an extraordinary calling! Jesus said to them on a mountain in Galilee, “All authority in heaven and on earth has been given to me. Therefore go and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit, and teaching to obey everything I have commanded you.” (Matthew 28:16-20 for context)

WorldVenture has been faithful for over 80 years, sending Ordinary People to Extraordinary Places. As leaders, global workers, and staff converge on WorldVenture Headquarters, July 13 to 18, we’ll be livestreaming some interviews with leaders and workers on location. Prepare to be inspired and encouraged!

Conversational Evangelism: An Interview with Dr. David Geisler

Live Stream

In a recent interview with church planters in the Philippines, one statement stood out: “Church should transform your community.” Conversational Evangelism equips believers to do just that—by making Gospel Impact through intentional dialogue.
Join us Monday, August 4 at 2 p.m. CDT for a live interview with Dr. David Geisler, co-author of Conversational Evangelism. In this newly expanded edition, Dr. Geisler emphasizes “pre-evangelism” and how asking the right questions can lead to meaningful Gospel conversations. Topics will include an exploration of “pre-evangelism,” the impact of post-modernism, and how thoughtful conversations can lead to Gospel-centered transformation.
Discover how conversation can be a powerful tool for Gospel Impact. Don’t miss this insightful and practical discussion.
You can see the livestream on TwitchXFacebookYouTubeLinkedIn, and the website. Want to submit questions or interact with us? Watch on social media.
Dr. David Geisler is a graduate of Dallas Theological Seminary (M.A.B.S and Th.M) and Southern Evangelical Seminary (Doc. of Ministries in Apologetics) and has been involved in Church and para-church Ministry for over 30 plus years. He is currently the founder and President of Norm Geisler International Ministries located in Lynchburg, Virginia.
In 1994, Dr. Geisler was recruited by the graduate branch of Campus Crusade for Christ to develop a national pilot program at U.T. Austin to reach skeptical graduate students. What he discovered is that there is a real need for Christian ministries to understand how to do process evangelism, especially with those more skeptically minded. As a result, in 2000 he started Meekness and Truth™ Ministries. In 2002, in cooperation with his team, he developed a new pre-evangelism paradigm called Conversational Pre-Evangelism that had been taught throughout the U.S. with College ministries, churches, seminaries, and mission organizations. In 2004 he felt called to Asia to equip Christians in the East in this new pre-evangelism paradigm. In the seven years he was in Asia, Dr. Geisler taught in 13 countries and trained over 300 Bible and seminary students in practical apologetics, many who are now pastors and missionaries in Asia. In 2009, he co-authored a book with his father, Christian Apologist, Norman Geisler, titled Conversational Evangelism. In July of 2011, he and his family relocated back to U.S. in Charlotte N.C. where he taught at one of the two seminaries his father co-founded. In Oct. 2014, they released their second edition of Conversational Evangelism. It has now been translated into five languages. In 2015, Dr. Geisler co-founded Norm Geisler International Ministries with his father. In 2022, David along with his NGIM team, developed an award-winning movie about his father’s life called Norm Geisler: Not Qualified, which can be seen on Vision Videos’ YouTube Channel that NGIM partners with to distribute the film around the globe.
Go to NormGeislerTheMovie.com David now oversees NGIM’s global movement both in the East and the West and teaches on-line at the two seminaries his father co-founded.
Dr. Geisler is passionate about teaching others how to integrate apologetics into someone’s daily witness based on the book, Conversational Evangelism, that he co-authored with his father as well as his father’s book, Twelve Points That Show Christianity Is True, as well as his father’s book with Frank Turek, I Don’t Have Enough Faith To Be An Atheist. David is also passionate about teaching an integrated approach of “A Certain Kind” of Evangelism, Apologetics, and Discipleship called Our Walk and Witness, which is also based off of material in his friend’s book, A Certain Kind by Rev. Edmund Chan. David’s life-long goal is to give to every child of God the gift his father, Norm Geisler, gave him.

Dust and Devotion: An Interview

Dr. Mary Wilder will join us on Wednesday, August 13 @ 12 p.m. CDT via our social media and website platforms.
Dr. Wilder served with WorldVenture (CBI) at Shikarpur Christian Hospital in Pakistan for two decades, providing life-saving care among unreached people and least-reached communities. That compassion was driven by her strong faith in Jesus. And her impact was felt far and wide, including on WorldVenture president, Dr. Jeff Denlinger, and Dr. Marty Shaw.
