The Edge Guest House Manager

To support and facilitate local ministries and cross-cultural missions by maintaining a ministry center dedicated to the unity of the Church and growth of God’s kingdom. To see others grown in their biblical knowledge and passion for God, embrace the abundant life they were freed to live through Jesus and increase the eternal impact believers have on the local community and beyond. The dream is to be a mobilizing agent with the provision of a well-maintained and fully equipped ministry center, resources and training.

REQUIREMENTS:
A servant leader willing to share life and pour into the individuals and teams being hosted as they manage the projects and goals to realize the Edge Missions Base vision and mission. Must have proficiency in English and Spanish.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
Hosting • Check-in and Check-out of all visitors and groups (including verse cards on beds, welcome drink, welcoming talk, preparations, clean up etc.) • Collect finances (rent, deposit, utilities fees, etc.) received by guests • Collect and return deposit; perform walk thru as needed Managing | Caretaking • Organizing and facilitation all clean up and construction projects and general maintenance • Landscaping, cleaning, mowing, weeding, and maintaining plants on the Edge • Supervise trash removal • Prioritize and communicate jobs and projects to office manager to form a list for future missions teams and work days • Manage and direct work projects that have been approved by the office • Complete appropriate paperwork for collected monies, receipts, reports, and repair request and turn it in OE office • Receive & document repair needs, emergencies, guest complaints • Arrange repairs and maintenance as needed, as well as supervising hired workers • Delegate and manage individual jobs on the mission’s base for designated team Work Days • Maintain storage and laundry area, including doing laundry from guest’s stay (sheets, kitchen towels, cleaning rags, etc.) • Take care of Edge pets, including clean up, feeding and walking (once per day) Ambassador • Facilitate Edge Tours to share the vision and mission of the mission’s base to visitors & potential donors • Educate and encourage guests to care for the Edge by casting vision, caring for, giving basic Edge rules and chores (as appropriate) • Collect donations received by visitors and guests
