Over the last 20 years almost 2000 Baptist Churches have started. Many churches are led by pastors with minimal theological training. Pastoral Training was identified as a huge need by both missionaries and Uganda church leaders. Your opportunity is to come join the Pastoral training team and facilitate Ugandans who are training other Ugandan church leaders. You would spend a week at a time up to a couple of times a month facilitating Ugandan pastors train other pastors by driving a vehicle and providing logistic support for the Ugandans. Help disciple leaders in a local area when not traveling.

Adventurous male pr couple without children. Thirty hours of Bible training minimum on long-term stays. Compassion, teachable, team work, able to work among poor with limited resources. Willing to work with and under Ugandans and learn lots from them. Willing to have very broad impact through the training others. Willing to travel a lot, self-starter. Humble Would need to learn how to prepare food from scratch or eat African food. Willing to learn a new way of driving in Africa.

Learn lots from quality national leaders. Help Ugandans teach their people. Eat African Food, Sleep out in tents, use outhouses, basins for bathing.

Uganda generally has a wonderful climate, warm sometimes moist days, cooler nights getting progressively warmer to the north. You would likely be based in Kampala or up country. Spend considerable time traveling. When not traveling you would likely live in a screened cement block house with a concrete painted floor that many times would have water and electricity. At times challenging internet access. No need for air conditioning. Kampalas traffic challenges most.
