Program Director for JCS International

The Program Director is a key role working in close collaboration with others in the Leadership Team, and is responsible for the coordination of all program and project activities, including overseeing already existing projects,
developing new programs and projects, monitoring, and evaluation.

REQUIREMENTS:
A diverse skillset which will include demonstrable experience of senior level operations management, and working with and managing relationships with a variety of client groups. A background and/or interest in policy development, particularly in poverty, inequality and social policy. Qualifications and experiences:  MA/MSc in Development Studies, Social Sciences, Leadership, or related field, or a BA in these fields with equal level of experience  At least 3 years of experience in leadership and development project management  Good understanding of financial management as part of a project  Knowledge of key issues and actors in international development  At least 3 years of experience in an (I)NGO or development related field  Significant experience in donor compliance and relationship management, including partnership building  Strong (cross-cultural) communication and interpersonal skills
RESPONSIBILITIES:
 Ensure the development, leading, and guidance of development programs according to international/national standards and JCS’s strategic directions, vision, mission that consider the needs of those we serve;  Coordinate the development and implementation of operational plans for each focus area;  Assist programs in translating operational plans into actions, defining work priorities and performance through mentoring and onsite visits;  Develop new, and build on existing (strategic) partnerships with Mongolian organisations;  Promote partnership, networking and build strong relationships with all Mongolian government offices, (I)NGOs, and other respective partners;  Engage in identification of organisational improvement, propose innovative ideas and best practices as a member of the Leadership Team
