Our children absolutely love the snow. I think this is the first year that I am less excited to have it. Every other year I shoveled with joyful abandon when the snow fell This year I shoveled with a slightly tired smile. Either I'm getting old, or it's my fifth Quebec winter.

In my case I have realized that those "to-do lists filled with tasks of secondary importance" are also filled with gaps of unproductive time avoiding those important, but no-fun tasks. Thanks for the encouragement.

I think we all have the same problem. I was complaining about traffic as I rolled down the freeway on brand-new tires in my air-conditioned vehicle.

Cameron,

The service begins at 10. I usually begin preaching around 11 and go from 45-55 minutes (I just added it to the post above).

Martine asked me not to shave during our vacation time. She feels more like we are really "on vacation" if I don't shave. So I decided to stop shaving... so she would feel like we are always on vacation.

Unlike most other people around me, Martine really likes it... at least for the time begin.

Generally, it's 3/4 of a day on Sunday.

Thank you for your continued encouragement in so many ways. You can pray that God allows us to make it back to the Northwest as a family in 2009. We'd love to spend some time with you guys if we do.
