    Faith Academy Teachers

Pray for us as we serve at Faith Academy and our ministry to missionary kids. Pray for unity among the staff as we strive to be the best teachers and encourages we can be as, so our hundreds of missionaries can continue to spread the gospel throughout Southeast Asia.
  • Mark & Lisa DeNeui

In October, Mark started preparing for teaching four classes (all in French!) at two different schools. Some of these coursese will be intensive. Please prayer for our time as well as for new relationships to form within our neighborhood. We want to be salt and light and share God's love in all of our relationships.

    Father/Son Group

Pray that the father/son  group that Dwight is working on comes together soon. Pray for the time, place and format.

    New Church Facility

We have been praying for a new facility and we are still waiting for the local government to issue a permit to proceed with our remodeling project. It seems that the most recent holdup is a technical problem with the site plans. Please pray with us that these technical issues would be resolved quickly.

    Almost There!

Please pray for a house to be found in Thiès, Senegal and for wisdom as we make arrangements for shipping our container of household goods overseas.

    Staying in Russia?

Please pray that we will find ways to stay in the country and effectively educate our children. Pray for the staff of our language school—most of them are young in their faith and some are not believers at all.

    A Peaceful Presence

Continue to pray for the tense political situation in Cote d'Ivoire, for peaceful elections by the end of this year. Pray for the Bible school in Korhogo—the teaching team and students are starting their classes the beginning of October.

    Bible Story Murals

I have been asked to head up a team of students to paint a group of murals and mini-murals to illustrate Bible stories for boys at an at-risk relief center. This is a very effective method for Africa, where storytelling is deeply ingrained in the culture. We have the awesome privilege of illustrating these stories! Following this project we will be doing more murals for another nearby center.

    Adjusting to Change

Please pray for our children as they readjust to life and school in Poland, for Joel as he prepares his dissertation for publication and for Renata as she continues her counseling studies through Western Seminary. In this time of change, pray that we would be sustained by our faith in the God who calms our hearts, guides our minds and strengthens our hands and feet.

    English Camp for Italians

We did some great things this summer, including the first English summer camp for Italians. To make it a reality, 20 short-term helpers came over from the States. We had such a great time as we built both cultural and spiritual bridges. If your church would like to do something like this next summer, please contact us to make it happen!

    Rapid Growth with Seminary

Randys dream of starting a new seminary in Nepal with his former student and close friend was realized in May when he traveled to Katmandu to teach the first class of 15 students. It was thrilling to see that rapid growth of the new church there and the rise of new leaders. We love being a part of it all and feel a strong sense of calling to make Nepal our primary objective for redeployment until God either opens or closes that door. There are so many exciting opportunities in South Asia!

    Life in Community

Please pray for my work during home assignment as an assistant to the Resident Director at Gordon College. We work with seven great student advisors and I oversee four halls, but my specific role is as a missionary in residence at Gedney Hall, with 26 students in an intentional living and learning community centered around the theme of missions. Please pray for my impact with these students.

    Continued Progress with Classroom Students

Many of you prayed with me last year for a young man in our school whose parents disapproved of his decision to trust Christ. He is still here and in one of my classes. Thank God with me that his parents have allowed him to continue at Morrison. Pray also for several other students who are interested in stepping out for God but whose parents wish them to remain in Buddhism.
