Kent and Jan Reimer have served as missionaries since 1978. they have served as church planters and missionary pilot in both South East Alaska and the Amazon region of Brazil. In 1988 they returned to the US for a furlough and found their son Josh had tuberculosis. this radically changed their life and ministry. Josh took two years to fully recuperate and Drs felt it best to stay away from the tropics until he completely healed. Our mission felt that Kent would be good as a recruiter among college students and to speak in churches. So that is what Kent did till 1996. I was a stay at home mom caring for our growing children, our son, Josh and daughter Kara. In 1996 Kent was asked to move to mission headquarters in Kansas City , MO to be the candidate director. He worked in the HQ till 2004. Our children now were grown, young adults. Josh had spent 3 years in N. Ireland as a missionary and while there met a young lady from Ann Arbor, Michigan. In Aug 2004 they married and live in Michigan. Kara had graduated
