One thing we were not expecting is the amount of grafitti everywhere. It seems that the Czech government has so many pressing needs that punishing those that deface everything (grafitti is on buildings, trains, metro cars, etc.) is not very high on the priority list..

This the playground shared by CISP and Perunova Skola. CISP presently has 54 students, most are from the US, but we have students from Macedonia, Romania, Indonesia, Belarus, etc. It is a very interesting and diverse group.

This is a corner view of the building that CISP is located. The building is actually a public school building. WOW, that is so un-American. The Czech people are having on average 1.5-1.8 kids per family, so there is a population decrease. With fewer kids in school there are more empty public school classrooms...

Payton's older brother was trying to be helpful and shovel the snow from our sidewalk. It is expected that all homeowners clean their part of the sidewalk off at first opportunity. This is very new to us Texans and Payton bears the brunt of an errant scoop to the nose.

An advertisement for Charlotte's Web. Apparently, movies are in English with Czech subtitles. It is much cheaper to add subtitles that dub over voices.

Everyone needs a Sunday afternoon nap after church, some need 2 or 3 naps.

We take the same path (only in reverse) home. The train from Masarykovo nadrazi to Zelenec only runs on the 47th minute past the hour. Timing is everything.
