The People Hungarians often are looking westward politically and look western in style, but they think quite differently.
Major Challenges Hungarian’s slowness to give away trust and the foreigner’s tendency to give up on learning their difficult language are major hurdles in encountering this culture.
Prayer Focus Pray for casual opportunities to witness the gospel to friends and acquaintances as well as creativity in designing outreach efforts to a private and reserved people. Pray that Keith and Beverly’s language development will continue to improve so they can more effectively communicate the gospel and understand the hearts of friends around them. Pray for continued guidance in evangelism and church planting efforts when they return in 2004 after completing their home assignment.
