Mr. Sam Williams

Alta Loma, California

Sam is Chair of the WorldVenture Board of Directors, following six years as Vice-Chair. Sam continues to provide outstanding leadership as a retired business executive. He also serves as Associate Pastor of Business Administration and Missions at Community Baptist Church in Alta Loma and is Secretary/Treasurer of the board of CBA – Southern California. Sam’s desire is to see people grow closer to God through serving and glorifying Him in the local church, the community and the world. He and his wife, Dorothy, have been married for 48 years and have 2 daughters and 3 granddaughters.

Dr. Mark Hanke

Salem, Oregon

Mark is Vice-Chair of the WorldVenture Board of Directors. He has served on the board for eight years as a Member-At-Large and as vice-chair. Mark is currently the Senior Pastor at First Baptist Church, Salem, Oregon. His personal mission is to be an agent of God’s grace by inviting people to enjoy Him and encouraging them to live life completely and compassionately for His glory. He and his wife, Kerri, have been married for 28 years and have 3 sons and a daughter and have been foster parents to many other kids.

Andy is Secretary of the WorldVenture Board of Directors. He recently retired from his position of NE Regional Connections Director with WorldVenture. He continues to volunteer his time to WorldVenture as he serves as the SE Church Coordinator. Andy is well-versed in the workings of WorldVenture and has built valuable relationships with our U.S. supporting churches. He and his wife, Nancy, have led over 200 people in prayer walks/vision trips to Africa. They have been married for 46 years and have 2 daughters and 4 grandchildren.


Dr. Jeff Denlginer

Dr. Jeff Denlinger

Littleton, Colorado

Jeff was selected as the sixth President of WorldVenture on November 1, 2012. He came to WorldVenture in 1988 as a mid-term missionary working in the Philippines. In 1990, Jeff and his wife, Christine, became career missionaries with WorldVenture in Venezuela. Jeff was asked to become a member of the leadership team at the home office in 2002 to provide oversight to the development of teams and to implementation and achievement of strategic priorities of WorldVenture ministries around the world. Jeff and Christine have two growth children and one grandson.

Foreston, Minnesota

Dan serves as a Member-At-Large on the WorldVenture Board of Directors. He is the senior pastor at Milaca Evangelical Free Church in Milaca. Minnesota. Dan has over thirty years of experience in church leadership, church planting, cross-cultural ministry, and the pastorate. His vision is to bring people to new life and maturity in Christ.


Mrs. Maggi Garrison

Mrs. Maggi Garrison

Phoenix, Arizona

Maggi serves as a Member-At-Large of the WorldVenture Board of Directors. She currently serves as the Mission Coordinator and the Women’s Ministry Director at Palmcroft Baptist Church. She believes that the quality of the workers and the challenges of doing missions in our world today makes this an exciting time to serve as a member of the board. It is Maggi’s desire to see the Lord glorified through the obedience of the body of Christ to the Great Commission and the formation of partnerships with vital global ministries. She and her husband, Brent, have been married for 37 years and have 4 children and 2 grandchildren.

Highlands Ranch, Colorado

Gene serves as a Member-At-Large of the WorldVenture Board of Directors. Gene is Mission and Outreach Pastor at Cherry Hills Community Church in Highlands Ranch. He is very committed to the local church and its consistent presence in its neighborhood as well as the responsibility of the Church to plant the church within every unreached people group at any cost. His goal is to finish well which includes serving Christ and His Bride, his wife and family, and serving in whatever ministry opportunities the Lord may choose to provide. He and his wife, Lorna, have been married for 35 years and have 2 children and 2 granddaughters.

Mr. John Chapin

Sunnyvale, California

John serves as a Member-At-Large of the WorldVenture Board of Directors. He brings great insight and expertise to our board as vice-chair of the Audit/Finance/Pension Committee. John is a retired CFO of Kaiser Aerospace and Electronics Corp. He worked in various financial positions throughout his career and spent 28 years in the US Naval Reserves. John is an active member of Bridges Community Church of Los Altos. He and his wife, Marcia, have been married for 47 years and have 2 daughters and 2 granddaughters. They continue to invest in God’s kingdom by participating in short-term mission trips around the world.

Mr. A. G. (Bud) Lindstrand

Portland, Oregon

Bud serves as a Member-At-Large on the WorldVenture Board of Directors. He is a retired business executive and an active member of Village Baptist Church in Beaverton, Oregon. Bud has served in a wide variety of civic affairs in Portland and has dedicated his life to honoring and serving God by providing leadership in a number of international ministries.

Dr. Randy McFarland

Littleton, Colorado

Randy serves as a Member-at-Large on the WorldVenture Board of Directors. He previously served as a church planter (under the former CBHMS) and as a pastor. Randy was part of the faculty and administration of the New England Center of Seminary of the East before his appointment as VP of Training & Mentoring at Denver Seminary in 1997. He was appointed Dean in 2001 and Provost/Dean in 2008 and currently serves as the Chief Academic Officer & Chief Administrative Officer at the seminary. He is an elder at his local church and is known for his expertise in mentoring, theological education and the application of theology to daily life.

Mrs. Susan Seto

Flushing, New York

Susan serves as a Member-At-Large of the WorldVenture Board of Directors. Susan has been a member of FBC, Flushing for over 30 years. She has served for a number of years as a member of the Missions Committee, and helped her church develop their short-term missions program. Her professional experience includes over 12 years in marketing, advertising, and business administration. Susan is married and is the mother of two daughters. She is committed to serving the Lord both locally and globally and is excited to expand her involvement in missions through WorldVenture.
