Freshly Called: Q & A with New Missionaries

Each year, we welcome a new group of missionaries. Freshly Called: Q&A with New Missionaries invites you into a dynamic conversation about what it means to say “yes” to God and step into the unknown. Through personal stories and dialogue, you’ll discover the journey behind their calling and learn where they’ll be serving.

Drew and Erianna Versnel

Drew is an engineer and will be doing ministry in the workforce- building relationships and representing Christ through his work in the engineering field. Erianna is a physician assistant and will be providing medical care to women in restorative programs, specifically those coming out of sexual exploitation and human trafficking. We’re also bringing along our sweet, fluffy pup, Monte, who’s just as much a part of this adventure as we are! Thank you for being part of our support team and walking with us as we serve in Bangkok.”

Global Worker – 4000-544

“The first time I remember hearing about God’s heart for the nations was right after I had come to faith at a campus ministry conference. It blew my mind that I had never heard someone preach on this topic even though it’s intertwined throughout all of scripture as part of God’s heart and core desire – to make his glory known amongst all peoples. God took my initial curiosity and conviction and grew it through many different people and opportunities over the past couple of years.”

Japan

Mark and Taylor Eisenhower

No matter how dark things appear for the people of Japan, Jesus, the Light of the world, shines in the darkness and the darkness will not overcome Him! So, we’re excited for our family to join a church planting team near Yokohama, Japan, seeking to evangelize our local community through incarnational living and Spirit-inspired love, while also making disciples in the local church and helping to raise up the next generation of Christian leaders in Japan. By God’s grace, we’ll see Him open the eyes and hearts of many people in the land of the rising sun, so they can embrace the Gospel of the Risen Son!
