RiskRide is a unique tool and method for helping initiate life changing conversations using Japanese manga as a story springboard. People are trained to use the manga for deepening a discussion to provide emotional care and take initiative in evangelism. Currently the tool is in three languages and has been introduced in 15 countries. Currently there is stock of 3,000 copies in Japanese and over 2,000 in English with corresponding websites. Chinese stock is relegated to Campus Crusade in Taiwan and unspecified. The tool proves to be easy to use and effective especially for youth and young adult and has been used for evangelism and suicide prevention in Japan’s post disaster scenario.
