The Center for Publication of Evangelical Literature (CPE)

The Center for Publication of Evangelical Literature (CPE) is working hard to develop grass-roots African Christian writers. In the past, most evangelical literature in the French language has been written by expatriates.

History:
In 1966 delegates from several churches and mission together in Abidjan decided to create the Center for Evangelical Publications which published its first title in 1969 CPE so it is essentially a publishing house. It publishes a varied literature for African churches and organizations working among Africans. With approximately 7 million printed pages per year, the CPE is the largest evangelical publishing house in Francophone Africa. It distributes its publications in 25 countries in Africa and in other countries around the world.
