WorldVenture owns and maintains an evangelistic and discipleship retreat center/camp on the beautiful West Africa Atlantic Ocean Coast. Young people hear about, process away from pressure, and come and know Christ. Pastors, men and women are trained. Churches come and encourage one another and build each other up. This beach camp is a place of great ministry and produces much fruit.
We need you to help out in regular maintenance of the camp

REQUIREMENTS:
A servant’s heart. The ability to repair and organize. Confidence to live in a town that is 45 minutes away from other WorldVenture missionaries. It would be a benefit to already know French, but with cell phone credit, we would translate when needed.

RESPONSIBILITIES:
Help out in regular maintenance of the camp. Repair what is broken – doors, cupboards, plumbing, electrical (as your ability allows). Organize a newly built shop – build shelves and put the tools and supplies in order. Refresh and resupply the camp with cleaning supplies between guests. Possibly paint and if skilled, re-roof a cabin.

LIVING ENVIRONMENT:
Live in Ngaparou – either on the campus (for shorter stays) or rent a furnished apartment that is close to the camp. (Airbnb). Senegal is hot and humid July – November. The camp is 45 minutes to Thies and 1.5 hours to Dakar on nicely paved highways. There are plenty of grocery stores close by.

We are a small team who are all passionate about equipping and encouraging the church in Senegal. We believe in prayer and meet often to pray together. We all get along well and enjoy spending time together. We would welcome you to join us and we would stay in close contact with you – by phone and occasional visits.
