Copyright and Usage Guidelines
Key Takeaways
- We’re grateful when partner churches and friends share stories of what God is doing through WorldVenture.

- Whenever you use WorldVenture content, credit WorldVenture in your text, tag our account, link back to the original content, or invite us to collaborate on the post.
- Please also follow any creator credit requirements below.
- For questions or permission requests, contact Media and Messaging at n.hahn@worldventure.com.
Website Content and Global Worker Profiles
You may link to pages on our public website. If you mention a Global Worker on your website or social media, represent them the same way they appear on their current WorldVenture ministry profile and link to that profile whenever possible. The profile determines which name, location, and ministry details may be shared publicly. Do not add identifying information you
learned elsewhere.
If a profile says “Worker Name Withheld,” do not use the worker’s name in any public context. If a location is withheld or described only broadly, use only the location information shown on the profile. These rules apply to websites, social media, captions, tags, videos, publicly accessible church materials, and messages that may be forwarded or shared beyond their intended recipients.
Knowing a worker personally or receiving a private update does not make that information public.
Videos
You may share or embed public WorldVenture videos on your church website or social media using the available sharing tools. You may also download a public WorldVenture video for use in a church presentation. When you post a video online, credit WorldVenture and link back to the original video or its page on WorldVenture.com, or tag WorldVenture’s social media account.
Please contact Media and Messaging before editing a video or uploading a downloaded copy as a new post or file. Some videos contain music or other material licensed for specific uses, so additional permission may be needed.
WorldVenture Logos
The logo shown here is WorldVenture’s preferred version for digital and printed materials, including websites, social media, publications, posters, and flyers. Partner churches may use it when identifying WorldVenture or sharing our work. Please use the official logo as provided and do not alter its colors, proportions, or design. For another version or a special use, contact Media and Messaging.
Photos, Blogs, and Other Written Content
All photos and blogs belong to the photographer/author. WorldVenture also occasionally publishes licensed photos, music, and other material owned by third parties. Content appearing on our website or social media does not necessarily mean WorldVenture owns it or can authorize every use of it.
You are encouraged to share links to our blogs and web pages with a brief description in your own words. You may also share a brief excerpt when you credit the author and WorldVenture and link to the original article.
You may download and share photos created by WorldVenture or a WorldVenture Global Worker or Staff for posts about WorldVenture’s work, provided you credit the named photographer and WorldVenture. If no photographer is named, credit WorldVenture. If a photo is credited to a partner church, another organization, or another outside creator, obtain permission from that owner before downloading or reposting it. If ownership is unclear, email us before using the photo.
Please contact us before reproducing more than a brief excerpt of written content or using our content in a publication, presentation, or other resource.
We’re happy to help you find the media you need. When permission is granted, follow the terms provided, credit the creator as directed, credit WorldVenture, and link to the original page when your format allows.
Protecting Global Workers
Before publicly sharing information from a Global Worker’s newsletter, email, or private social media group, ask the worker for permission. Please send them the proposed text and photos so they can approve exactly what will be posted, including any names, locations, and visible faces.
If the worker’s public ministry profile says “Worker Name Withheld,” remove names and other identifying details from the proposed post. Use only the region or location information made public on that profile; do not assume that a broader location is safe to publish. Ask whether any faces should be blurred, and publish only the version the worker approves.
If you are unsure whether a photo, story, video, or identifying detail is appropriate to share, contact Media and Messaging before posting.
In short, anything on our social media can be shared using the share links provided in the posts.
Thank you for helping us tell these stories while respecting their creators and caring for the people who serve.
