REQUIREMENTS:
A heart for people, especially the disadvantaged. Small business experience would be helpful. Ability to evaluate potential business plans. Some background in finance & marketing would be helpful but not required.

RESPONSIBILITIES:
Research ideas for sustainable micro finance projects. Evaluate potential projects and provide feedback to the recipient. Provide training to the entrepreneurs in business development, marketing & finances. Provide on-going support and accountability to the entrepreneurs. Work closely with on-site missionaries in implementing the projects.

Most likely living in Cebu City, a large metropolitan city on the island of Cebu. Either an apartment or house will be rented. Living in close proximity to supervisor and other missionaries and expatriates.

Most likely working with a Filipino who could serve as a translator when needed. Traveling to the nearby islands in the central Philippines via different forms of sea-craft will take place. The Filipino people are very friendly, hospitable and courteous and open to God's work in their lives.
