REQUIREMENTS:
Bachelor or graduate degree from a reputable seminary or Bible college, Christian college or school; Ordination by a recognized church or congregation; Five years of pastoral experience or comparable experience in ministry leadership; Fluency in English, working knowledge of Arabic is helpful. A vision trip to the field is required.

RESPONSIBILITIES:
The Pastor is responsible for providing spiritual and pastoral leadership to the congregation at ICC. This includes providing spiritual leadership through example, preaching/teaching, working with the Elders in establishing and implementing the vision of the church, equipping the congregation for various works of ministry, and shepherding the people in partnership with the Elders. In recent history, Beirut was known to be a considerably Western city in the Middle East, however Lebanon is currently in the midst of one of the worst economic crises in the history of the world. Electricity and gas are not always available, and the political situation is precarious and could explode at any moment. Instability is to be expected. Most people in the city of Beirut have experienced multiple traumas over the past few years. As such, the needs are great and ministry opportunities are endless. The worker would be living in Beirut, and will participate in WV Lebanon's team meetings and new worker mentorship program.
