Funds from this project will be used to purchase building supplies for homes.
PROBLEM
Teachers at the Bible school only earn around $18 per month. They sacrifice because they see the importance of training pastors for Baptist churches in rural Uganda.
VISION
The homes will be a great encouragement for the faculty of a Bible college who sacrifice to teach and train students to serve as pastors in rural areas of Uganda.
STRATEGY
This project will help raise $2,000 for each teacher to purchase brick, concrete, wood and iron sheets needed to construct a moderate home. They and their families will provide the labor to build the houses themselves. We would like to start with three teachers who have been with the school for over seven years.
CAPACITY
Iron sheets for one roof cost $600. Materials for an entire house cost $2,000.
