6421-903-Theological College Operation

The CB Seminary at Hsilo charges minimal fees to students so finances are not a barrier or burden in preparing for ministry. This also makes the school more attractive to potential students.

PROBLEM
The church in Taiwan is still growing and cannot financially sustain the theological college there. Professors receive a salary and benefits package lower than most of our pastors, even after they have taught at the school for ten or more years.

VISION
This project provides funds for the college to pay operating expenses.

STRATEGY
Since student fees are low, a large portion of operating expenses must be met through donations. Students help to keep costs low by doing most of the grounds work and general maintenance.

CAPACITY
Salaries for full-time staff run about $8,500 a month, including four professors and three office staff.
