When the war in Syria started in 2011, Lebanon was flooded with families fleeing atrocity, making it the
country with the most refugees per capita in the world. The Church stepped up in a major way by
providing aid, education support, job training and a welcoming community to tens of thousands of families
who had been left with nothing. Refugee church plants are growing and thriving. As Lebanon spirals
deeper into economic disaster, the Church is continuing to support refugees as well as other families who
now find themselves in need. The money raised by this fund goes towards projects such as monthly food
packets ($40 per month for one family), education ($30 per month to register one child in school), rent
support, church activities, and more.
