6454-906-Refugees & At-Risk Families

War is horrific. In addition to the significant numbers of dead and injured, the war in Lebanon has displaced a quarter of the population from their villages and homes. Hundreds of thousands are sheltering in public schools, many homes have 3-4 families living together, and the streets and squares are full of makeshift tents for people with nowhere else to go.

Our Lebanon team continues to work from both in and outside Lebanon with our partner churches and organizations to serve the people fleeing the ravages of war.

Along with our partners, we are providing:
🙏Medicine and medical care for the injured
🙏Hot meals, mattresses, and pillows to the homeless
🙏Programs for children in shelters
🙏Online teaching for those who can’t safely get to school

Please help! The opportunity to share the love of Jesus in tangible ways is happening right now. We ask you to help us provide that life saving support to the growing number of displaced people we are serving.

Most of all, we ask you to join us in praying for the people of Lebanon. Join us in crying out to God for peace.

“The Lord is near to all who call on him, to all who call on him in truth.” – Psalm 145:18 (NIV)

______

When the war in Syria started in 2011, Lebanon was flooded with families fleeing atrocity, making it the country with the most refugees per capita in the world. After the Revolution, Beirut explosion and the following economic collapse, many Lebanese families also find themselves unable to meet their basic needs.

The money raised by this fund supports projects such as monthly food packets, tuition fees for school children, medical expenses, rent support, church activities and more for the most vulnerable.
