Renumbered from 6463904 CI/MMT Hospital Education. This project provides the needed funds for national hospital workers in Cote d’Ivoire to receive further medical training.
PROBLEM
Our desire is to have dedicated African Christian professionals in leadership roles at the hospital. The competition is so severe in the government training programs that the only way of getting those professionals is to send them ourselves and finance their studies.
We also have a nursing program based at the Baptist Hospital to provide a quality education for nurses at the LPN/RN level. The 3 year program is taught by our own RN staff, both nationals and missionaries. The program operates on an as needed basis, according to the hospital nursing staff needed.
VISION
It is a goal of WorldVenture workers to see the hospital operated completely by Africans.
STRATEGY
Providing nationals with the funds to receive training in medical professions will make this goal a reality. Providing funds to run the hospital’s nursing program.
