It’s hard to admit, we are celebrating more than 80 years of combined ministry to Japan. Junko is born and bred in Japan and was ministering long before meeting Andy. As the youngest son of missionaries to Japan, Andy knew the challenges of ministering in Japan but couldn’t resist God’s clear call back.
We believe Japan will be reached by average Japanese Christians, and we have seen believers in Japan can do amazing things—if they are given a little assistance. So, we train people as community caregivers reaching the depressed, anxious, and suicidal, plus involve them in discipleship and mobilize them to share the life-transforming gospel of Jesus Christ. Yes, we regularly mobilize even kindergartners for the Gospel! Japan is the second largest unreached people group in the world, but we can barely keep up with the spiritual hunger!
And we are overflowing from Japan! All over: Bangladesh and Brazil, Albania and Afghanistan, Indonesia and India, on and on, God keeps expanding, and we continue to Think Possible!
