Our ministry vision is for holistic discipleship of ministry leaders- developing leaders in head (theological education), heart (spiritual formation) and hands (ministry training) to disciple others in unreached parts of the world.
About us:
Anna and I both attended Biola University which played a significant role in our growth in Christ. In our college years we were blessed with many opportunities to deepen in our grasp of God’s Word as well as be discipled by mentors who opened up their lives to us.
Over our time in college and afterwards, God grew in us a vision to train and equip people from unreached areas to take the Gospel to their home countries and plant churches, specifically in places where the Gospel has not yet been heard. We realized that our experiences of receiving formal Bible training and intentional discipleship were blessings that we wanted to pass on to others. Our passion is not only to teach God’s Word, but also disciple others so that they can effectively teach as well as shepherd the people in their care. In order to be better equipped for ministry, Adam completed an M.Div. with an emphasis in Pastoral Care and Counseling, a ThM in Old Testament, and a PhD in New Testament. During Adam’s doctoral studies, Anna began an MA in Counseling at Southern Seminary to be better equipped to disciple women.
Ministry Summary:
We served five years at the International Graduate School of Leadership in Manila, Philippines, training and equipping students from over 20 different countries in Asia. Our desire is to train students from the least reached or unreached areas because the harvest is plentiful but the laborers are few. In 2022, we moved to Tyndale Theological Seminary in the Netherlands where Adam teaches New Testament. There, we train and disciple African, Asian, and European ministry leaders who will take the Gospel to some of the 3 billion people who have not heard of Jesus Christ. Tyndale has over 1300 alumni from 83 countries.
Our vision for ministry is holistic development of ministry leaders. At Tyndale, we engage students in rigorous study of Scripture and equip them with skills to rightly interpret God’s Word. We also value relational discipleship to help the truths of Scripture to penetrate their hearts and transform them more into Christ’s image. Tyndale offers a Masters in Evangelical Theology (MET) and Masters in Divinity (MDiv) degrees to equip students for various church, missionary, and parachurch ministries. The school is committed to training students from around the world by reducing costs and offering scholarships to students from Africa and Asia who would otherwise be unable to afford theological education. Tyndale’s tuition is 25% of a comparable theological education in the US and 80% of students receive full scholarships. The goal is to equip students with theological training to take the gospel where it has not been heard before.
Faculty at Tyndale raise financial support in order to make formal Bible training accessible to students from around the world.
In addition to their ministry at IGSL, Adam and Anna have two sons Luke and Caleb and one daughter Kara. Their kids enjoy reading, playing outside, building, and experiencing new adventures in the US and abroad.
