Local dentistry services are often inadequate and substandard in the rural area surrounding Shikarpur Christian Hospital. The majority of our patients are pregnant women who often have dental needs. Care is also provided to diabetic patients, some who have inadequately controlled blood sugars because of poor dental health. We are praying for a male or female dentist who is willing to take on the challenge of establishing a dental program at SCH.

This person will need to have a current license to practice dentistry and have at least one year of experience beyond his or her training.

RESPONSIBILITIES:
Provide primary dental care (fillings, extractions, cleanings, root canals) to Shikarpur Christian Hospital female patients as well as male and female hospital staff members and their dependents. Teach basic dental health and hygiene through a translator. Participate in evangelism and discipleship ministry of the hospital.
