Concerning the risks to children (trafficking, abuse, neglect), cultural trends often pressure families to send children away for work, education or opportunities. Families in Southeast Asia need compassionate, relational coaches that come alongside, model discipleship and demonstrate God’s passion and priority for kids and the family. Serving together with the 1for50 network, this coach can train others (teachers, ministry leaders, pastors, and local families) to creatively disciple kids in the context of the home. 1for50 is a global grassroots network that equips one local leader for every 50 children to reach, disciple and empower them to make a difference for Jesus.

REQUIREMENTS:
Singles, couples, family with kids, or empty-nesters with independent, motivated, flexible, humble, relational spirits, willing to adapt to the local culture, even learning the local language. A person with a love for kids and families with some teaching and/or counselling experience. A person who is spiritually mature with some Bible training, and able to travel independently. A person who works well with others both in-person and online.

Facilitate interactive, Bible-based trainings on how to establish a strong family, build relationships, serve in a local church, and participate in a collaborative online network and in-person communities.

Live by yourself, with a roommate, or with your family in Bangkok, but travel often to other cities in Southeast Asia (like Yangon, Chiang Rai, or Hanoi).
