Medical Professionals

Our team would love to add more medical professionals of any level (physicians, PAs, NPs, nurses, MAs) whose passion is to make disciples of Jesus. The medical work is flexible and open to creativity, using a community clinic as a base with opportunities to branch out in the neighborhood, city, and nearby villages. We hope that relationships built on these interactions will lead to discovery bible studies and discipleship.

Experience in your area of medical care. A teachable spirit and attitude of adventure are important characteristics for one to have in Guinea. Being able to feed yourself spiritually is important. Flexibility is key too, as we work and live in community. Holistic transformation and life change are slow in coming in our context to those of the majority religion, so perseverance is a wonderful characteristic to possess and see growth in.
Direct patient care, group visits, community health teaching, mentoring of local health professionals, or other means we aim to demonstrate the love of Christ through quality compassionate service.
Languages can be learned in country with a tutor. For long term service French may be learned in a formal language school.

The WorldVenture team is presently working in a city of 300,000 people. Village locations are possible too! Living quarters would probably be in a mission owed apartment building. The electricity is solar powered.
To be determined. It could involve travel. We hope to build an outpatient medical clinic in our town soon.
