The staff at SCH seeks to meet the physical and spiritual needs of the women and children of an unreached people group. Quality medical care is scarce in this rural area. Opportunities to share our faith with patients and their families are abundant. Patients often ask for prayer. More providers are needed in order to take full advantage of the opportunities available. The needs are great, but the laborers are few. REQUIREMENTS:
Female. Current RN license with NP certification (FNP, Women's Health, Pediatric, or Adult). Cooperative, dependable, industrious, adaptable, with stamina, having solid prayer support base, flexible person willing to work long hours will do best. Minimum Stay: 2 Weeks; Maximum Stay: None

Assess and treat patients in outpatient and inpatient settings; share night call. Assist the Nursing Director in the training of nurse aides, as well as helping to upgrade the nursing skills of the national midwives and nurses. Develop relationships with the nurses, patients, and their relatives and share your faith.

The hospital is located on a 7 acre compound in a rural area of Pakistan, approximately 40 minutes away from a major city and airport. People working here will need to adjust certain aspects of their living according to local cultural norms. Housing is available on the hospital compound. Internet service is available. The climate in the Sindh during the summer is very hot - usually hovering between 100° and 120°F. Electricity is not consistent but the hospital has a generator.
