Professor for Bible College, Seminary

ESEPA is an interdenominational evangelical Bible college and seminary, a partner school of Overseas Council International and affiliated with AETAL. ESEPA was founded in 1983 in response to the need for training evangelical Protestant ministers in Costa Rica; today its training extends to Christian educators, teachers and transcultural workers. The faculty consists of missionaries and of Latin Americans, many of whom are ESEPA’s own graduates. REQUIREMENTS:
An MA, ThM, DMin, DMis, or PhD in a relevant field. All teaching, administration, and student interaction is done in Spanish; excellent language training is available at the Instituto de Lengua Española, a short distance from ESEPA’s campus. Personal characteristics such as spiritual depth, flexibility, cultural sensitivity, and people skills will be valued in a candidate. Vision trip required.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
Full-time teaching professors. Other requirements include some administration and participation in staff and student activities. Teaching is done on graduate and undergraduate levels. Areas of Particular Need: Old Testament; New Testament; Biblical languages; Theology; Practical Theology; Leadership.
LANGUAGE NEEDS:
Spanish may be learned on field.
