The staff at SCH seeks to meet the physical and spiritual needs of the women and children of an unreached people group. Quality medical care is scarce in this rural area. Opportunities to share our faith with patients and their families are abundant. Patients often ask for prayer. More providers are needed in order to take full advantage of the opportunities available. The needs are great, but the laborers are few. RESPONSIBILITIES:
To work alongside the national nursing staff providing nursing care for patients admitted to the hospital. To assist the Nursing Director in the training of nurse aides, as well as helping to upgrade the nursing skills of the national midwives and nurses. To develop relationships with the nurses, patients, and their relatives and share your faith.

Hospital located on a 7 acre compound in rural area of Pakistan, approx. 40 min. away from a major city and airport. Will need to adjust certain aspects of living according to local cultural norms. Housing is available on & off hospital compound. Internet service available. The climate during summer months is very hot - usually hovering between 100° and 120°F. Electricity is not consistent but the hospital has a generator.

The hospital has 34 beds for women & children with two 12-bed wards and 10 private rooms, labor room, delivery room, two operating rooms, outpatient department, small laboratory and pharmacy. The hospital is largely staffed with national workers.
