Asian Theological Seminary (ATS), located in Manila, has served the evangelical community for 35 years. With a faculty of mostly Filipinos, the seminary seeks to glorify God by providing quality education that prepares workers for His church in Asia and around the world.
PROBLEM
Since many students are already in ministry, they only need assistance with their school expenses. Some of the international students also need assistance with living expenses. ATS also needs operational budget assistance to maintain facilities and programs. The Filipino/Asian church is not yet able to underwrite the entire cost of operation.
VISION
ATS is a major training center for graduate level study designed for pastors and leaders. ATS is also the mother school of Asian Graduate School of Theology.
STRATEGY
This project is designed to assist ATS with funds which will be used for such expenses as faculty salaries, scholarships, operating expenses and faculty development projects. Approximately a quarter of operating expenses comes from the Philippine churches, a quarter from tuition fees, and half from funding organizations and foundations.
CAPACITY
Total cost for one year of study is approximately $1,000.
