This project will provide funds for a new church building in Lubin, Poland. The land is already purchased, so the needs are for the cost of the architectural drawings, the materials, and the labor.
PROBLEM
Currently we meet in a small storefront building, and we are quickly outgrowing it. Our Sunday morning attendance is averaging around 40, which fills our meeting room. The language school, with 120 students, uses every inch of the building, in addition to an off-site classroom in a nearby building. Since we are a relatively small group, we are requesting your help in erecting this new building.
VISION
Not only does this advance WorldVenture’s worldwide objective of establishing churches, but through this body of believers, we desire to evangelize, extend grace, equip leaders, and encourage missions.
STRATEGY
This building will be used for Sunday services, Bible studies, evangelistic outreach events, youth meetings, as well as a language school throughout the week. The plans also include a small apartment which could house a pastor, language teacher or someone in need. Our goal as a church and school is to help direct people to a closer relationship with God.
