The Payap University Linguistics Department has students coming from many areas of the world. Some come with their own funding, but others come from areas where funding is more difficult to find. This year we have several students who could make significant contributions to the linguistic foundation for translation or literacy in their communities, but they are not eligible for current financial assistance. The project’s overall ministry and goal is to give financial assistance (tuition) to students who are not eligible for current funding and have the potential to make a significant impact using linguistics within their communities.
