International Student Ministry in New Zealand

“And Jesus came and said to them, “All authority in heaven and on earth has been given to me. Go therefore and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit, teaching them to observe all that I have commanded you. And behold, I am with you always, to the end of the age.” – Matthew 28:18-20

May we not just know this, but live it.

This passage reminds me of what we are called to do as believers in Christ. With great joy and honor, I have an opportunity to work with a ministry whose heartbeat is to make disciples of all nations. International Student Ministry of New Zealand (ISMNZ) is a ministry that connects with international students across New Zealand. They help students get accustomed to the life and culture of New Zealand through regular meet-ups. Here students can receive help with the English language, create friendships, community, and a support group. The heartbeat of ISMNZ is to “help international students in New Zealand become life-long followers of Jesus Christ, equipping and enabling them to reach their communities and nations for Him.”

– Pray for the students we will connect with day to day.
– Pray for their hearts to hear the gospel.
– Pray for the leaders and volunteers of ISMNZ.
