Our family ministry focuses on working with Third Culture Kids (TCKs) through SHARE Education Services.
By definition, “A TCK is an individual who, having spent a significant part of the developmental years in a culture other than that of their parents, develops a sense of relationship to both. These children of business executives, soldiers and sailors, diplomats, and missionaries who live abroad, become “culture-blended” persons who often contribute in unique and creative ways to society as a whole.”
SHARE Education Services helps English-speaking expatriate families living in Europe, Russia, Central Asia, and the Middle East with their children’s educational needs. With a caring, compassionate staff of educators and years of international experience, we understand the joys and challenges of educating children in a cross-cultural environment. We offer help in a variety of areas, including:
* Choosing a schooling option
* Deciding what curriculum to use
* Supporting through transitions
* Determining learning issues and challenges
* Providing resource help
* Assessing academic achievement
And so much more! Whatever your concern is regarding your child’s education, SHARE Education Services is here for you.
Robin and I have been educators in Texas for over 20 years. During those years our family has grown to eight. We have five sons and one daughter – Camden, Jared, Easton, Payton, Marek and Landry. We are blessed to have six TCKs in our own family! We served over 13 years in the Czech Republic with the Christian International School of Prague working with TCKs from all over the world.
We are so blessed to work with such a special group of families and would love for you to partner with us.
