“May the Lamb receive the reward for His suffering!” – Moravians
G and S felt called to move overseas independently and now, together, as a married couple.
G grew up in the church and was a part of a missions-minded church that enabled him to go on several short-term trips. Through this, he came to believe and follow Jesus as he was headed to India. Since then, G has followed Christ. He studied Christian Ministry in college before becoming a firefighter. After college, G took a class at his church that taught him about the unreached. Once hearing this, he felt that he could not unhear it. Now, he is taking the next steps to move to SE Asia 1 and share the Good News with those that have not and will not ever hear it.
S did not grow up in a religious family. She came to know Jesus when she was a college student after a former roommate shared the Gospel with her. While in college, she signed up for a class at her church accidently where she learned how to share the good news of Jesus. Through that class, the Lord broke her heart for people that have no access to the gospel. Since then, she has taken steps towards serving overseas.
Thousands of people have no access to the Gospel. It is easy to transcribe our western thinking to the rest of the world. “If we can look it up online, can’t they?” True, they may be able to. Yet will a person raised in another faith in a different context ever do so?
God has commanded us to “go and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father, Son, and Holy Spirit; teaching them to observe all that I have commanded you…” G and S feel this command directly. We plan to make disciples, form groups, and plant churches as we seek Kingdom Multiplication. Please consider partnering with us in prayer and financial giving. As you consider, we urge you to join in God’s call to make disciples of all nations by letting us be your hands and feet. In 1 Timothy, Paul is talking about charging the rich to not look at being rich in this life, but in the next. He equates giving their money with “storing up treasure for themselves as a good foundation for the future, so that they may take hold of that which is truly life.” We encourage you to take hold of true life.
