This Pathfinder is headed to East Asia.

“I have been given the amazing opportunity to sojourn in East Asia, build relationships there, and share the good news that has transformed me and given me an abundant life filled with hope. My heart is in the poem below, best reflected in God’s narrative, the news I share.

As a student, I have been training and preparing over the past year and a half, being mentored by spiritual warriors with cultural proficiency and diving into God’s Story. In East Asia, I will build relationships through language learning and teaching, as well as participating in daily life together. I’ve been learning their heart language for a few years now and pray that the Lord will speak through me for His glory. In addition to planting and watering seeds, God will use this journey to continue growing me and teaching me about His people so that I can better love them and share His good news. Please pray for me. We are all members of Christ’s body.”

In the beginning, we see,

Briefly, dimly, but memorably.

Our souls remember and long still

To be reunited with the image of will.

Pleasure and pride always subside,

Until we are filled from the inside.

Even still, we wait with hope.

With You in the garden, we will lope.

When once we hid in fearful shame,

From You, we walk in love untame.

We can’t help but sing.

Our voices ring.

A message heard across the seas.

A savior has lived, died, and risen for thee.

The Father wants you to come home,

And while you’re here, to never be alone.

We tell the story unceasingly,

Because He loves you, so do we.
