About Pastor Wayne:
Wayne Ballard grew up in the Front Range of Colorado. He attended Colorado Christian University and graduated with a degree in Communications in 1988. Following college, he moved to Houston, TX, and worked with a Christian Theater Company, the A.D. Players. During this time, he met and married his darling wife, Jenda. They have three grown children who are a blessing to all they meet. Once married, Wayne began investing more in ministry in the local church.
In 1992, he began attending Denver Seminary and graduated with his M. Div. In the fall of 1996, he was called to Grace Baptist Church in Chino Valley, AZ. At that time, Grace Church had about 50 people in attendance. Today, the church averages over 500 during Sunday morning services.
They have recently opened a new worship space and have seen God continue to grow the church. Since the new space opened, they have celebrated over 75 baptisms. This fall, Wayne will be celebrating 30 years of ministry at Grace Church in Chino Valley.
