Ordinary People
Jesus called dozens of ordinary people to follow Him in His ministry on earth. The disciples came from various backgrounds, but none of them were famous, notable, or influential. They were ordinary, but Jesus gave them an extraordinary calling! Jesus said to them on a mountain in Galilee, “All authority in heaven and on earth has been given to me. Therefore go and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit, and teaching to obey everything I have commanded you.” (Matthew 28:16-20 for context)
WorldVenture has been faithful for over 80 years, sending Ordinary People to Extraordinary Places. As leaders, global workers, and staff converge on WorldVenture Headquarters, July 13 to 18, we’ll be livestreaming some interviews with leaders and workers on location. Prepare to be inspired and encouraged!
