WorldVenture Online Events & Registration

Inspiring People Since 1943

Therefore go and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit, and teaching them to obey everything I have commanded you. And surely I am with you always, to the very end of the age.” – Matthew 28:19-20

The call to make disciples isn’t just issued to missionaries and pastors; the command is for all of us. WorldVenture is dedicated to good training, so our Global Workers are prepared to serve in the field (and stay in the field). We continue to also develop online events to equip you for Gospel Impact. What does that look like?

In the words of Shane and April Hudson (Spain) when talking about a 20-hour course they were putting together, “We believe that this material is like the content of the gospel. It is not enough to merely know it. It must change your life.” We hope the material and ideas you learn inspire you to find creative ways to reach your co-workers, family, people in your community, and help you support your local church’s efforts in missions and outreach.

The Suitcase Chronicles (and More)

Live Stream

Amy Sun is a writer and ministry leader. Her latest books are an inspiration from her own experience as a missionary. Join us on Thursday, November 19 @ 11 a.m. Central on our social media platforms or the website to learn her story and about some new books your children might enjoy.

Bio:

After completing her B.A. in Christian Education from Arizona Christian University, Amy Sun’s passion to teach children led her to South Korea, Kazakhstan, India, and Austria to serve as a missionary schoolteacher, two of those years with World Venture, giving her a cross-cultural experience that has made her uniquely and powerfully equipped to cultivate a Christian worldview in the minds of her students. In early 2023, Amy penned her first children’s book, Heart of the Kingdom. Her second book, Theo’s World, was published in August, 2024. Both books are allegories pointing children to a personal relationship with Jesus Christ. Amy is also author of The Suitcase Chronicles, which is a novel series for pre-teen readers based on her missionary experiences, and Parenting Unscripted, a study for parents to learn why and how to lead their children into relationship with Jesus.

Now as a Director of Family Discipleship for Legacy Ministries International, Amy’s passion is to equip parents in the why and how of raising their children in the Lord.  A single mom, Amy calls Phoenix, Arizona, her home, where she has raised her three wonderful young-adult children to love and follow Jesus.
