Please join us as we pray over the conflict in Ukraine.

WorldVenture has an ongoing disciple-making presence in Ukraine and had a past presence in Russia for many years. We love both of these countries and their great peoples. Our hearts broke as we previously evacuated our US colleagues in Ukraine and our hearts are broken again with the attacks by the Russian military. But like so many followers of Jesus in the region, we trust in the Lord. We’re inspired by the beacon of hope that Ukrainian churches and church leaders are providing. We join them in their public prayers for peace and for the salvation of souls. We also pray for the basic needs of Ukrainians during this time. We pray for justice. We pray for hope.

As we pray for our Ukrainian brothers and sisters, we recall the words of the psalmist:  “Though an army besiege me, my heart will not fear; though war break out against me, even then I will be confident” (Psalm 27:3 NIV). And we mourn with all of our brothers and sisters in Ukraine, Russia, and the entire region.

We invite all followers of Jesus to join us in prayer and in worship of our God and asking for His will to be done on earth as it is in heaven.

This is a popular Ukrainian worship song. Led by believers in Ukraine with one of WorldVenture’s global workers, it is a powerful reminder of our need for God and our need to pray to Him. #prayforUkraine
