All funds raised will be used to purchase necessities for families trying to acclimate to a new life in the United States. These families have been through a traumatic journey, and are now faced with paperwork, language and culture classes, not knowing their community and very limited funds.

There is an ongoing migration of people from countries all over the 10/40 window through South America all the way up to the United States and Canada. Every four to five years, the Intensive Baptist Theological Seminary (STBI) holds a family retreat for its students and their families in Northern Brazil.
