Leganés has a population of 185,000 with about 7,000 being from North Africa. They are mainly from the Rifi Berber, Magreb Arab and Jebala Arab people groups. Isolation and non-integration are quite common among these people groups living in Leganés. National Bible Translator

Translating the Old Testament into Wolof is essential in reaching this unreached people group of 4 million and opens the door to another 3 million Senegalese who speak Wolof as a second language. The national Wolof Bible translator, Mr. Diop, has committed his life to translating the Bible for his people. He has two masters degrees one in mathematics and the other in English literature. He has also been trained in linguistics, translation principles and has studied Hebrew. Funds from this project will provide a monthly remuneration for Mr. Diop.

Darkar Academy is a college preparatory and missionary boarding school in the capital of Senegal.
