Teaching English through a language center and working with street children will allow me to build relationships where I can share the hope and love of Jesus with those whom the Father calls. Through these relationships, we seek to begin Discovery Bible Studies, which in turn have the potential to begin a Disciple-Making Movement among the unreached and unengaged people groups in the area. The FBC Association of Pastors has an annual goal of planting at least two new churches in unreached areas. Praise God! They have been meeting their goal. VISION Assisting these churches with roofing sheets is a big encouragement since it is difficult for the churches to afford these materials. Established church buildings will also provide a center for more training and outreach within the communities. We are increasing the size of the Bible college's library. It needs more good books that will help the students. PROBLEM Bible dictionary commentaries and biblical study books are not available in Uganda. Kiburara has a small library, less than 200 books in English. VISION These books will help students have better resources for studying and will help them gain better knowledge of the Bible. STRATEGY We hope to add 250 books to the library collection. The project is a revolving fund to receive sales of Wolof scriptures and fund the printing and shipping of the Wolof Bible ($16 each) and New Testament ($8 each). The project will also supply funds to publish "spin-off's" in-country: single books such as Genesis, Psalms, Proverbs, Luke-Acts and probably a mini-Bible selection of OT and NT passages. This project provides funds for the purchase of library resources for the Evangelical Institute of Dakar. This institute is the primary church leadership training school in Senegal. PROBLEM The institute's library currently holds approximately 3,000 volumes, but this includes English language resources as well as French. This is the final stage of a 60-year project begun in 1963 by a British worker with the Open Brethren. He worked with Mr. Fall, then Mr. Fall's son, who died in the year 2000. Another Wolof believer finished what was lacking, but had a different style so what had been done already had to be revised. He died in August of 2021, but the preparation for typesetting carried on with experienced checkers.

In a country of 18 million people where half are illiterate, it is imperative to disseminate the gospel through oral media. Listening to the radio, especially to local stations, is popular in Senegal. Local stations are making airtime available to churches and missions, sometimes freely or very economically. The Association of Evangelical Baptist Churches of Senegal (AEEBS) was offered time on a few radio stations. A couple pastors are going to the radio station to record.
